Spade - ShadowMan (Prod. By JUX)

Spade is a Toronto emcee with a unique vibe to his tracks. I've been getting back into more local underground rap and usually I try to compare artists with popular ones from the mainstream that I'm already familiar with. In the case of Spade, I can't really compare him to other mainstream rappers sound wise as he has a really original voice and sound with his tracks.

Shadow Man is a dope short track that has an aggressive "go-get-it" vibe and its chock full of pop culture references from Phantom of the Opera to Star Trek. Let me know which ones you spot in the comments below. The beat was handled by JUX and the production is slick and has a real 90's OG vibe with the kick drums and hi-hats.
